Blocks is divided into six areas for Flex customers:

1  URLs: This is a list of URLs (pages) that are available on the front end of your site. You select a URL to edit the blocks and navigation regions that make up a page layout. This can be collapsed or expanded by clicking on the double arrows above on the right.

2  Blocks Library: This library contains all the existing blocks available for your site, and allows you to create new blocks.

3  Schedules: Used in conjunction with URLs, you can create a custom page that only displays on certain days, and at certain times, in essence, this creates a virtual URL that can be customized like any other URL.

4  URL Layout: This is where the page opens so the blocks and navigation can be edited.

5  Utility Regions (Flex): These regions allow you to position all types of Editorial Assets on Article Asset pages and Search Results pages that were otherwise, inaccessible in the Block Editor. This can be collapsed or expanded by clicking on the double arrows above on the right.

6  Page Customizations (Flex): On Flex template website, this is where you set customizations for Layout, and General Design; Header, Footer, and Navigation customizations; banner Advertising, Commenting, and Photo Purchasing, among other settings. This can be collapsed or expanded by clicking on the double arrows above on the right.

View Site

Clicking the down arrow to the right of View Site will open up a menu of three options:  Preview, Preview specific time, and View Live Site.

View front page opens the homepage of your website in a new tab. this is the live version of your site that your readers see. The live view of your site will be affected by the 5-minute cache, so any changes you have made in your admin may not show up immediately. This will open the homepage. You will need to navigate to the specific page you want to view.

View front page preview will open your site in a new tab for you to review. Preview will not display ads, or some third-party widgets, and the formatting may not be exactly as the site will look to your readers. This will open the homepage. You will need to navigate to the specific page you want to view.

View time-specific front page preview is primarily used with Schedules, but it can also be used to preview your site at a chosen date and time in the future. You cannot look into the past. Mouse over Preview Specific Time, and set the date and time you want to view your site, then click Preview. This will open the homepage. You will need to navigate to the specific page you want to view. The URL will show the date and time you are previewing: /2015-11-22T22%3A19%3A00Z/
