Note: Some blocks require a landscape or horizontal image to display properly. If the image is a portrait or vertical image it will show the middle of the image, cutting off the top and bottom of the image.

This will happen with ANY image. Your cropped preview should have a 16:9 aspect ratio. For more information about cropping Preview images for use with these blocks, see Step by Step Guide: Cropping Preview Images (Flex) (Zen)


 From the drop-down menu in the upper left choose Editorial / Assets...  (Not sure how to access BLOX Applications? Click here)

 Create or edit an existing image asset. See Image for more information about creating/editing image assets.

Click Preview, this should show the same image as Image.

Click Set crop.

Click Create crop region.

Using your mouse drag and resize the crop box to encompass the portion of the image you want shown in the block.


Note: Blocks like Editorial: Breaking (Flex only) require a landscape or horizontal image to display properly. If the image is a potrait or vertical image it will show the middle of the image, cutting off the top and bottom of the image.

Note: Alternatives to cropping the existing image include uploading a new file from your computer (this file could be already cropped, or not), uploading a file from Dropbox (for more information see Using Dropbox to upload images (this file could be already cropped, or not), or copying the image from an image asset already in Editorial / Assets (this file could be already cropped, or not).
