Overview

Presentation is set from a dropdown at the bottom of the Article Asset window. Using a specific Presentation helps make Article Assets more interesting for your readers.

There are three types of Presentations:

  • None - (default) - No special presentation is applied.
  • Long-form - A longer, in-depth article displayed with greater focus on the content.
  • Personality - Emphasizes the author, such as on a blog or an opinion piece.

None

This is the default presentation for Article Assets. No special focus is applied.  The Child Assets are displayed to the left of the content.  Here there are one Image Child Asset, three Article Child Assets, and one Sibling Asset.  The Article Child Assets are listed by Title and are indicated by a document icon that they are related Article Assets.  The Image Child Asset appears as a thumb of the image.  The Sibling Asset is listed underneath the content by just the Title without any indication as to the type of Asset.  The Subheadline, Kicker, and Hammer are displayed at the top and aligned left by default using None Presentation.

Long-form

A longer, in-depth article is displayed with a greater focus on the content.  The Child Assets are displayed to the right of the content and in this Presentation, the content spans the width of the page.  Here there are one Image Child Asset, three Article Child Assets, and one Sibling Asset.  The Article Child Assets are listed by Title and are indicated by a document icon that they are related Article Assets and there is a thumb of the Image Child Asset.  The Sibling Asset is listed underneath the content by just the Title without any indication as to the type of Asset.  The Kicker and Hammer are centered at the top with the Title while the Subheadline is offset to the left using the Long-form Presentation.  In addition, Long-form will make the first letter of the first word in a bold, block-type font.

Personality

This Presentation style emphasizes the author, such as on a blog or an opinion piece.  The Child Assets are displayed to the left of the content.  Here there are one Image Child Asset, three Article Child Assets, and one Sibling Asset.  The Article Child Assets are listed by Title and are indicated by a document icon that they are related Article Assets.  The Image Child Asset appears as a thumb of the image.  The Sibling Asset is listed underneath the content by just the Title without any indication as to the type of Asset.  The Subheadline, Kicker, and Hammer are displayed at the top and aligned left by default using Personality Presentation.
