Logging into the BLOX CMS Admin

There are two options for logging into the BLOX CMS admin:

1) Enter your website's domain into the web browser's address bar, followed by /tncms/admin

Ex. your_domain.com/tncms/admin 

2) If you know which server you are on you can also type in the address to that server:

If your site is on the Midwest servers: https://admin-chicago2.bloxcms.com/

If your site is on the East servers: https://admin-newyork1.bloxcms.com/

This will prompt the BLOX login screen. 


Note: The BLOX CMS admin interface's minimum requirements are 1024x768.


Enter your Email Address and Password.

If you do not remember which email address you were setup with, please contact TownNews Customer Support at 800-293-9576.

BLOX CMS news and updates

Once logged in, you will be taken to the BLOX CMS "News and Updates" landing page of the admin. This page includes software and service updates, links to support and community portals, and news updates from the TownNews.com team. 

At the top of the page, form left to right:


In the upper-left corner of the screen is where you go to access all applications and settings panels you have access too. Click on the BLOX CMS logo to open the menu, then hover over categories to expand all the applications in that category. Click on the name of the application you want to access.

If you do not see a certain application listed your company may not have purchased that application, or you may not have been granted access to it by your company's BLOX administrator.

Note: A site administrator at each company will have the power to create / delete groups, and add / remove group access for their employees. TownNews.com is not responsible for managing groups or staff access.

Active Site

Clicking on Active Site brings up the Change Active Site dropdown. If you are an administrator on multiple sites, either type in the site's domain or select it from the dropdown. Click Change to go to that sites admin. You can also set a site as your default by checking the box next to Set Default Site To. This will force the system to send you to that admin every time you log in. Once logged in you can switch to different site admins that you are authorized to access.

Clicking on Logged in as provides access to Preferences, Connections (to establish sitewide connections to 3rd party services like Twitter), Edit Account settings, Feedback (the TownNews.com Customer Forum), and Log Out. For more information see Logged in as:.

Feedback links to the TownNews.com Customer Forum, where customers can share ideas, and ask questions.

Log Out will log you out of the BLOX CMS Admin.
